Sebastian Colley

Sebastian Colley has worked as a writer and creative producer on numerous successful television formats, including Circus Halligalli, Die Unwahrscheinlichen Ereignisse Im Leben Von…, Harald Schmidt and Neo Magazin Royale. As head writer of the sketch comedy series Kroymann, he received the Grimme Award in 2018 and 2019, as well as the German Television Award in 2020 in the category “Best Writer Entertainment”. Together with Stefan Titze, Philipp Käßbohrer and Matthias Murmann, he co-created the multi-award-winning Netflix series How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast). With Isaiah Michalski, he wrote the screenplay for the feature film Buba, which tells the backstory of the series. Colley also served as head writer on the fantasy series Pauline (Disney+) and the mockumentary Messiah Superstar (Joyn). In 2024, together with Claudius Pläging, Fabienne Hurst and Sintje Rosema, he was responsible for the scripts of the comedy series Perfekt Verpasst (Amazon Studios), starring Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka. The second season of the series will be released under the title Perfekt Zusammen?!. In addition to his work as a writer, Sebastian Colley teaches workshops at film schools such as the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and the Zurich University of the Arts.
