Samira Sollich

Samira Sollich has been an editor with ARD’s Health Expert Editorial Team since 2022, the lead editorial unit for health journalism within Germany’s public broadcasting system. In her role as Social Media Lead at ARD GESUND she oversees high-reach channels and works as a format developer and community strategist. Since 2026, she has served as a representative of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) on the FinEx jury, which honors outstanding final projects by graduates of the vocational training program for media designers specializing in image and sound across Germany. Before joining ARD GESUND, she worked as a television news writer, talk show writer, reporter, and editor for various NDR editorial teams. Before beginning her journalism training at NDR, she studied literature and linguistics at Leibniz University Hannover and Macquarie University in Sydney—and even worked part-time at a gym.
