Robert Franke

Robert Franke is the Managing Director of Intaglio Films, a production company backed by ZDF Studios and Beta Film. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President Drama at ZDF Studios, overseeing international high-end drama productions and co-productions.

Over the past years, he has produced and developed numerous international series projects with partners across Europe, the US and Japan, including titles such as The Swarm, Concordia and The Window. His work focuses on international co-productions, IP-driven storytelling and building creative bridges between European, American and Asian markets.

Alongside premium scripted series, he is increasingly exploring new forms of narrative entertainment at the intersection of streaming, gaming and digital platforms.
