Maria is an Austrian, bilingual screenwriter and showrunner who has studied and worked in Glasgow, Auckland, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. She’s been writing on a shocking number of TV crime formats for public broadcasters in the DACH region, a horror comedy for a streamer, and some seasonal delights. She’s in the middle of drafting a prestigious “Tatort” for the ORF, developing a video game adaptation with Black Forest Games, and humbly pitching one of her projects at Seriencamp! Maria recently completed the European Showrunner Training with the ifs in Cologne, and she writes everything as long as it's crime, mystery, historical, “genre”, bone-dry, and female-driven. She’s based in Vienna and spends a lot of time in the UK/Scotland.
