As a freelance director and writer, Madita Rutten develops, writes, and directs fictional series, social media formats, and various television programs such as “Wissen macht Ah!”. Since graduating from film school in 2021, her working approach has included appearing in front of the camera for certain projects.
She deepened her expertise in comedy writing in 2022 through the Comedy Masterclass at the ifs in cooperation with the Grimme Akademie.
In early 2025, Madita co-founded Cinesnax with her creative partner Paul Schiefelbein. With their company, they begin engaging their target audience as early as the development phase by producing and publishing short snippets — little “snacks” — from their story worlds on social media.
They stand for authentic content with attitude and humor, breaking taboos, and offering a modern perspective on the distribution of fiction.
