Larissa Dold is a Munich-based screenwriter with a diploma from the University of Television and Film Munich and a B.A. in Theatre Studies. During her studies in Munich and Malta, she focused on Queer Theory and feminist perspectives.

Her work includes several short films, most notably Franky, which she co-wrote with writer-director Catharina Lott. The film screened at numerous national and international festivals.

In 2024, Larissa and her colleague Lia Zebra won the RTL+ Storytellers Award, a national storytelling competition. Together, they created their first original series, the young adult rom-com Mermaids to Lovers, which premieres at the Seriencamp Festival. Whether working in romance, comedy or horror, Larissa is drawn to character-driven stories about antiheroes and unconventional relationships.
