Kelly Souders earned an MFA from USC in screenwriting. She co-created and ran THE HOT ZONE for National Geographic starring Julianna Marguiles, Tony Goldwyn and Liam Cunningham. She was a consulting producer and writer on NatGeo’s GENIUS: PICASSO and GENIUS: EINSTEIN starring Jeffrey Rush, Emma Watson and Antonio Banderas. Additionally, she worked as an Executive Producer on WGN’s flagship show SALEM, and consulted on CBS’s UNDER THE DOME and USA’s POLITICAL ANIMALS. She got her start as a staff writer on the smash hit SMALLVILLE and eventually became the co-showrunner. She has developed various projects for companies including Warner Brothers, Fox 21, ABC and Disney.
