Katja Bäuerle

Katja Bäuerle is an Executive Producer at UFA Serial Drama, where she currently oversees the successful daily RTL series Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. She has decades of experience in the development and production of serial formats and has worked on shows such as Hinter Gittern, Unter uns, Alles was zählt, and Rampensau, as well as the Australian daily soap Neighbours.

In addition to her work as a producer, she has repeatedly taken on key company-wide roles at UFA. As Creative Responsibility Manager, she oversaw issues such as sustainability, diversity, and professional development; negotiated industry-wide minimum environmental standards, initiated a voluntary commitment to greater diversity at UFA which was another industry first; and founded a Diversity Circle.

In 2024, she served as Managing Director of the Erich Pommer Institute before returning to her roots in daily drama production.
