Juliana Lima Dehne, an American screenwriter, producer, podcaster, and career coach, worked in film and TV in Chicago, New York City, Paris, and São Paulo before returning to her Brazilian roots to co-write and produce a children’s series in 2010, earning a Prix Jeunesse nomination. She then moved to Munich, where she received the VGF Grant from the Bavaria Film Center and wrote the award-winning short Over Lunch. That same year, she secured IDM funding for her first feature screenplay. An alumna of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Sorbonne, and the MA Serial Storytelling Program at ifs, she has writing credits on 1899 (Netflix), two seasons of Maxton Hall (Prime), and the upcoming Amazon Studio movie starring the Elevator Boys (2026). Currently, she is adapting Greg Coonen’s thriller novel The Fat Finger for the big screen. She is also pursuing an AI Consultant certification, launching the podcast The Sustainable Creative Society™ in June 2025, and lives with her family in Berlin.
