Julia Penner

Julia Penner is a screenwriter and creator based in Berlin. After studying acting at the Ernst Busch Academy, she shifted her focus to writing, graduating from the DFFB and the prestigious "Serial Eyes" program. She was head writer for the hit youth series Druck (seasons 3–5) and co-created 37 Seconds, nominated for the 2024 Grimme Award. Julia works across genres as a staff writer (Davos 1917, Love Sucks) and is currently developing an original series set in Switzerland.
