Jette Johnson

Jette Johnson studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies in Frankfurt before beginning her career as a comedy writer for the Grimme Award-winning sketch format Browser Ballett. She later worked as Head Writer for the educational infotainment show Aurel Original, combining comedy with socially relevant topics. Her satirical short film Brüste des Terrors received among others the Deutsche Fernsehpreis for best script in the category Entertainment. She then created and showran Banausen, a format that merges her passion for theatre and comedy. Most recently, in collaboration with NDR, rbb and funk, she developed the fictional comedy mental health format GYM BROS (working title), aiming to counter toxic male-focused social media content while creating accessible and entertaining mental health resources for young men.
