Jan Ehlert joined MOOVIE in 2000 and worked there first in script development and later as a script editor and producer. In his 24-year career at Constantin Film, he has realized a large number of successful TV projects. These include series formats such as CRIME and GUILT based on the stories of Ferdinand von Schirach, TV events such as DIE HEBAMME for Sat.1 or FAMILIE! for ZDF and the high-end crime series THE TYPIST.
Since joining the management of Constantin Television in 2018, he has produced top-class multi-part series such as THE ALLIGATION, PUNISHMENT based on the novel by Ferdinand Schirach and DIE HEIMSUCHUNG. His most recent productions include MURDER MINDFULLY and HAGEN. Jan Ehlert has been the new Chief Content Officer (COO) of Constantin Film since 2024. The proven filmmaker is responsible for the content of series/streaming/TV. This also includes supervising the Development and Creative Affairs departments and further developing the creative direction of the company.
