Jan Diepers

Jan Diepers started his film career in 1993 with "Lindenstraße". The numerous series that he had the pleasure to supervise as a producer since then include far-reaching series such as "GZSZ", "Folge Deinem Herzen" and "Berlin Tag und Nacht".
As a specialist in the production of daily series, he has also developed, set up and produced various other formats in Germany and abroad. One of his last productions was the daily dramedy "Oteckovia" (Daddies), which achieved a market share of 40% in its home country of Slovakia.
In addition to daily productions, he was also responsible for classic series, sitcoms, TV movies and children's programs, such as the German version of the Teletubbies.
Before Jan Diepers took over Studio Hamburg Serienwerft as managing director and producer in 2021, for which he produced the telenovela "Rote Rosen" and the Franco-German co-productions “ANAON” and "Parlament" (Grimme Preis 2021; Rose d’Or 2023), he worked as a freelance producer for production companies such as UFA, Filmpool, ndf, Odeon Film and Bavaria Fiction.
He has produced series in Spain, France, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He contributes this experience to the co-production activities of Serienwerft which included in 2022 the 2nd and 3rd season of the Franco-German political comedy "Parlament".
