Eva van Leeuwen has been working at Netflix since 2018 and rose to Head of Series DACH in 2023. In this role she oversees the creative direction of all Netflix series productions for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Under her leadership, a string of fan favorites has climbed the international Top 10 lists—including the two International Emmy-winning series The Empress and Dear Child, as well as Murder Mindfully, Cassandra, KLEO or the cult hit How to Sell Drugs Online Fast.
Prior to joining Netflix, the Düsseldorf native spent six years heading the film production department of Sony’s German Columbia Pictures, producing films such as Who Am I, 25 km/h and Hilfe, ich habe meine Lehrerin geschrumpft.
