Davide Tromba

With over twenty years in film and animation, Davide Tromba began his career after an MA from the University of Portsmouth. He contributed to international productions at MPC (London) and Animal Logic (Sydney), working on blockbusters such as Troy, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the Oscar®-winning Happy Feet. Upon returning to Italy, he founded Animoka Studios, leading the production of award-winning animation series and cinematic projects.Today, Davide designs hybrid pipelines, integrating Open Source AI (ComfyUI) and 4DGS into professional workflows. He views AI not as a replacement for talent, but as a sophisticated technological accompaniment: an ethical tool to empower human creativity and resolve production bottlenecks. His goal is to enable creators to interact with AI consciously, ensuring that authorial control and cinematographic quality remain at the heart of the process.
