Christian Kaps

Christian Kaps, a native of Washington D.C., started his career in development aid in Southeast Asia before moving to film. He worked as a producer for Wüste Film, beetz brothers, and Brainpool Fiction on over 25 Features and series.

During a 3-year period as a stay-at-home dad in Bolivia he started writing. Thanks to the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting and a COVID pandemic related firing he has been a freelance screenwriter since 2020. He recently wrote the thriller Der Beschützer: Wissen, das tötet (ARD) and an episode for Der Letzte Bulle (Sat.1/Prime).

He is currently working on a thriller for Degeto, to be shot in the summer, a comedy series about the end of days, and much more. Christian is a member of the European Writers Desk (Creative Europe) and the German Screenwriters' Guild (DDV).
