Charles is responsible for delivering consultancy on all the international re-versions of BBCS’ scripted formats globally (excluding the USA), working closely with BBCS’ Global Production offices and third-party format licensees, across all stages of development and production.
Amongst many formats, he’s worked on 12 adaptions of Doctor Foster (including The World Of The Married for JTBC and Sadakatsiz for KanalD), 5 versions of The Office and 4 adaptations of Ghosts.
Charles has a background as a Scripted Exec, having previously worked at the BBC in continuing drama, at The Walt Disney Company, and for a host of independent production companies, including Company Pictures, Element Pictures and Buccaneer Media; where he developed the ITV / Netflix hit drama Marcella from pitch to screen.
