Arne Feldhusen

Arne Feldhusen, born in 1971 in Rendsburg, started out in the 1990s as a musical consultant (e.g. Lammbock) and as an editing and directing assistant on commercials and feature films (Der Campus, St. Pauli Nacht). He made his directorial debut in 1999 with the documentary Strassenkinder in Deutschland, followed by the first three seasons of Ladykracher.
He became widely known for Stromberg (2004–2012), the opening episodes of Mord mit Aussicht and Der kleine Mann, as well as the series Der Tatortreiniger, which he co‑created; for this show he received the Grimme Award in 2012 and 2013.
Subsequent works include the feature films Stromberg – Der Film, Magical Mystery and Stromberg – Alles wie immer, as well as the series Deutschland 86 (Amazon) and How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) (four seasons for Netflix), both of which also earned Grimme Awards.
In addition, he has directed projects such as Vorsicht vor Leuten (WDR) and Buba (Netflix), has continued to direct commercials, and has been teaching film directing at various film schools since 2006.
