We are delighted to introduce this year's highly qualified jury for the Writers' Vision Pitch 2025. The team of industry experts will actively support us in selecting the most promising series projects in the pre-development phase that have been submitted to us for the Call To Projects. Eight writers will be invited to present their series to an audience of producers, distributors, investors and potential partners live on stage at SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE 2026.
We are now pleased to introduce our jury for the Writers' Vision Pitch, consisting of Tomás Silberman, Carolin Haasis, Steve Matthews, Katja Harterink and Kristina Peter.

Tomás Silberman
Tomás Silberman began his professional career in the entertainment business working in the assistant director department of various films, collaborating with prominent directors such as Steven Soderbergh and Jaume Collet-Serra.
In 2008, he was hired by Comedy Central as Script and Comedy Talent Supervisor. Between 2008 and 2019, Silberman worked with most of Spain’s biggest comedy stars, crafting over 300 comedy shows.
In 2019, he was promoted to Content Development Manager for the Spanish branch of Paramount Television Studios. As a development executive, he oversaw highly-acclaimed series, including Paco Cabezas’ Gypsy Bride (La Novia Gitana, for Atresmedia), Stories to Stay Awake (Historias para no Dormir, for ZDF, Prime Video and RTVE), When you least expect it (Días Mejores, for Paramount+, Prime Video and Mediaset), and Fleeting Lies (Mentiras Pasajeras, for SkyShowtime), the latter produced by El Deseo, Pedro Almodóvar's production company.
In 2023, he joined Buendía Estudios as Head of Scripted Development, where he currently oversees the development and production of a wide variety of fiction series.

Carolin Haasis
Carolin Haasis has been an editor at ARD Degeto Film GmbH since 2013. She is currently responsible for developing film series for the ARD Mediathek, including Babylon Berlin, Die Zweifler, Schwarze Früchte, Asbest and Schattenseite.

Steve Matthews
Steve Matthews is Head of Scripted, Creative, at Banijay Entertainment, where he plays a central role in the group's production development process and leads creative initiatives for original drama projects. Matthews focuses on developing new scripted content, particularly in the concept and script development phase, and supports teams across the company's global network in developing a range of high-quality productions.
Prior to joining Banijay Entertainment, Matthews was VP and Executive Producer, Scripted, at HBO Europe, where he had been since 2014. In this role, he worked with local teams in Central Europe, Spain, and the Nordic countries to drive the development of original series, miniseries, and international adaptations. His portfolio included Pustina, Umbre, Blinded By The Lights, Uspjeh, The Sleepers, Foodie Love, Gösta; and from the Banijay Entertainment sphere, notably 30 Coins (Pokeepsie), Beforeigners (Rubicon), and Beartown (Filmlance).
In addition, Matthews is dedicated to promoting talent and has launched the Banijay Bootcamp, a special program for creative screenwriters. This initiative promotes collaboration in storytelling by bringing together development executives and emerging writers in a dynamic residency in partnership with the midpoint Institute.

Katja Harterink
As Head of Drama of one the most prominent Dutch public broadcasting companies AVROTROS, Katja Harterink is responsible for developing and supervising an interesting slate of successful high-end drama series, feature films and animation projects. AVROTROS strives to commission, co-produce and develop series and films that potentially reach a very large audience in the Netherlands and abroad.
Harterink studied Film and Television at the University of Amsterdam and has gained a lot of experience in the field of storytelling and (script) editing. In recent years AVROTROS’ productions have been regularly awarded international nominations and prestigious prizes; Katja Harterink has the ambition to continue this beautiful tradition with her committed team of experienced script editors, producers and a lot of coffee.

Kristina Peter
Kristina Peter is a Senior Development Producer at Warner Bros. Discovery. In this role, she has been closely involved in the development of award-winning series such as 4 Blocks, The Mopes, and Arthurs Gesetz.
She is a graduate of Serial Eyes at DFFB Berlin and a fellow of the Screenwriting Workshop at HFF Munich.
Alongside her work in story development, Kristina is actively engaged in supporting emerging talent and regularly leads workshops at various film schools.
