SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE returns from June 3–5, 2025 in Cologne and with the ongoing support of its main funders – the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW – as well as its returning main partner ZDF Studios, the event will once again bring together the European TV industry with a packed program of panels, showcases, and networking opportunities. With the full timetable and program now available online, this year’s edition places a strong importance on the evolving landscape of international co-production.
One of the major highlights is the expanded focus on Co-Productions, reflecting the industry's growing demand for collaborative models across borders. Several sessions are featuring this topic such as “Realities of Co-Production in 2025 – Challenges & Opportunities for the European Model”, bringing together leading voices from across Europe, including Andri Ómarsson (Glassriver), Fleur Winters (Big Blue Productions), Maria Valenzuela (BRISA MEDIA), and Adrienne Fréjacques (ARTE FRANCE). The panel will be hosted by Irina Ignatiew-Lemke (Boxworks Media) and explore how creative and financial models are being reimagined in an ever-changing media environment.
Since co-productions are becoming ever more essential for financing and international reach, the “Producers’ Vision Pitch” also offers a unique window into how leading producers position themselves in a rapidly evolving market and how they seek creative and strategic partners across borders. This year’s confirmed speakers include Erik Pack (Boat Rocker Studios), Hörður Rúnarsson (Act4), Brendan Fitzgerald (Secuoya Studios) and Al Munteanu (BriskPace Studios).
Eight Promising European Co-Productions Take the Stage
In addition, SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE can now reveal the selection of eight co-production projects, curated and chosen by an international jury consisting of Emmanuel Eckert (Mediawan Rights), Maria Cervera (Cattleya Producciones/ITV Studios), Pernille Bech Christensen (TV 2 Denmark) and Henrike Vieregge (WDR), offering a glimpse into the future of European serial storytelling:
