BANANA REPUBLIC AWARD - NEW PITCH BY SATEL FILM
Corruption has been the dominant topic in Austria in recent years garnering attention beyond national boundaries. Satel Film aims to explore new perspectives on this ever-relevant issue with the BANANA REPUBLIC AWARD. The call is directed at all creatives who want to go beyond the day-to-day political events surrounding corruption and delve into the subject from different angles and across various genres. We are seeking fictional series concepts that primarily focus on corruption but also extend beyond it, avoiding a narrow political scope. The winner will not only receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros but also an option to further develop and realize the project in collaboration with Satel Film.
