Anxo Rodríguez is a producer with a background in law and business affairs specialized in intellectual property. As a producer he has been rewarded with a Goya Award for the documentary Paco de Lucia: La Búsqueda, which he produced and executive produced. He has also worked as head of business affairs for the Netflix show La Casa de Papel, the HBO show Foodie Love and the Movistar shows El Embarcadero and Mira lo que has hecho, among others.
In early 2020, Anxo launched Espotlight with the aim of promoting Spanish content for the international market. Since then, Espotlight has produced Los Farad (Prime Video), Un Nuevo Amanecer (Atresplayer), You would do it too (Disney+ / Apple TV+) and is currently working on Dime tu nombre (Prime Video) and Firebreak (Netflix).
In addition to his production services, Anxo owns the talent agency Alter Ego Talent House, which provides Espotlight with A-list talent in the territory, including writers, directors, actors and composers.
